Summary

Amends the:

Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918
to provide for: specific authorisation requirements for how-to-vote cards; and penalties for contravening the requirements; and
Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918
and
Referendum (Machinery Provisions) Act 1984
in relation to misleading or deceptive electronic advertising publications.
